Network Mapping - About Us

Network Mapping has grown exponentially in recent years, following a management buy-out from National Grid, plc, in 2007. We now have an entirely in-house work flow, from data capture to data processing.

As we expand, we are looking to take on new staff that would enjoy the challenge and relish the opportunity of working for a growing company. If you would like to apply for a job with Network Mapping, please view this page.

Corporate and social outreach

Network Mapping is working with local Schools though the Engineering Education Scheme (EES). The scheme involves four 16 - 18 year old students working on a real engineering project for the company. The young, talented engineers will work through the project from inception to completion learning many key skills in the process as well as gaining exposure to the engineering industry. The scheme involves close collaboration between Companies, Schools and Universities including a residential course to be held at a local University. This year's project is "Using LiDAR data for precise building modelling in Google Sketch Up".
